The Basics

: Signing up is quick and free. Click on the profile icon at the top of the page, then click on the button at the bottom of the form to create your account. We’ll send you an email to verify your email address. Click on the link in that email, and you’re good to go.
: Your contact information can be updated from the “profile” section of your account:

Enter your existing password and your new one

Trade-Ins

: Trading in your clothes is a great opportunity to keep your clothes in use (and out of landfills) longer. For each accepted item that you trade in, you’ll also earn credit to purchase new products from us.
: We accept any of our products so long as they are in like new or gently used condition, except for items that fall into the categories listed below. Not all items may be eligible for credit though. Please be sure to check their worth below.

Traditional Clothing Accessories
: We evaluate the condition of items to ensure that they meet our quality standards. Items should be in excellent or like new condition. If an item can’t be repaired, cleaned, or resold you will receive partial credit of $5.00, unless that item’s original credit value is zero. Please note that once you ship an item to us, we cannot return it for any reason.
: An item’s credit value is based on what type of item it is and its condition. You’ll earn the trade-in credits listed below for each item that passes our review. If an item does not pass our review, you’ll earn $5.00 instead, unless that item’s credit value is zero (as shown below).

If a shipping fee applies, it will be shown to you before you finalize your trade-in. Any shipping fees will be deducted from the total value of your trade-in. However, so long as your trade-in contains at least one item whose credit value is greater than zero, you’ll always earn at least $5.00 per submission (regardless of the number of items contained in that submission). If these amounts are not acceptable to you, do not submit your trade-in.

Pants (Clothing) - $15.00

All other accepted categories - $5.00
: Trading-in your clothes is easy! Here’s how:

Start by clicking on the “Trade In” button at the top of the page or on the homepage.

Sign into your account, or create a new account.

If your purchase history contains items that are eligible for trade-in, you’ll be able to add these items first by clicking on the plus icon in front of each item.

If you don’t have a purchase history, of if you want to trade in other items, you’ll be able to do so using our online catalog. Search for your item by name or description, provide any additional required information, and click “Review Trade-In”. If you have more than one item to trade in, select “Add Another Item” instead to add the next item.

Review your trade-in. This is where you’ll see the estimated credit value and any shipping charges.

If everything looks good, complete your trade-in.
: Absolutely! You can trade-in anything that is listed in our online catalog, even if you didn’t buy it directly from us, including pre-loved items.
: No. We are unable to return items that you send to us for any reason, including if you disagree with our decision to reject an item. If you’re not ready to permanently part with an item, do not submit it for trade-in.
: We do our best to process trade-ins as quickly as possible, but please allow 7- 10 business days for us to do so. You’ll receive an email as soon as we process your trade-in.
: Trade-in credits will be issued to you in the form of a gift card that can be used to purchase new products at https://www.amalinecollections.com. Your gift card will be sent to you by email.
: Our goal is to extend the lives of these items as much as possible. That usually means reselling items so that they can be continued to be used. In some cases we may donate items to charity. Items that are beyond repair will be recycled, whenever possible. Everything else will be discarded as responsibly as possible.
: Unfortunately, not at this time.

Clean Out

: One garbage truck full of clothes ends up in a landfill every second! That adds up to more than 92 million tons of trash each year! Sadly, nearly all of those clothes can still be used in some way. Sending us your unwanted clothes is the responsible way to dispose of them. We’ll help them stay out of landfills as long as possible.
: The weight of your shipment should not exceed 15 pounds, which is usually what can fit into a 2' x 2' x 2' box.
: We'll take a number of items, including shirts (woven and knit, button-ups, polos, etc.), trousers, pants, shorts, jeans, suits, and some sweaters.
: We sort the items to develop a redesign strategy for best utilizing all of the fabric from each garment. We'll create new designs from the materials.
: You’ll receive your US Postal Service shipping label by email after you check out. Print out the label, securely attach it to the box, and drop it off at your local US Postal Service office. We recommend reusing existing shipping boxes whenever possible.
: Unfortunately, we are unable to return items that you send to us for any reason. If you’re not ready to permanently part with an item, do not send it to us.
